Sigana is a form of storytelling within Luo (a tribe in Kenya) culture which brings members of a family or community together. Sigana often teaches values, lessons from elders, traditions and customs.

Sigana's 2020 event aims to leave our audience with a wealth of wisdom in what has been an incredibly uncertain year. Though life is unpredictable, each individual can attest to knowing at least 'one thing for sure' - a core tenet that proves to be true through and through. 

Our audience will hear from African entrepreneurs in Australia, Africans from diverse religious backgrounds, Africans in academia, African professionals and a wonderful African couple on the secret to their long-lasting marriage in the diaspora. 

We hope the wisdom shared will leave our audience feeling encouraged, empowered, and excited for the future!
